Hi! Welcome back for another Meet the Team Monday! Today we’re introducing you to Eric Stalnaker, Two Stories Media’s creative consultant and writer. On a project with Two Stories Media, Eric will provide a fresh perspective to an idea or concept. At times Eric will even write the script which we will then bring to life.
Eric was born and raised in Pennsylvania. In 1995, he moved to Sarasota, Florida, where he was working in the business field. During this time, Eric’s interest in writing and filmmaking was piqued. He began working on unaccredited rewrites for the independent film, The 19th Hole. This wasn’t enough to propel him into filmmaking full-time, so in 2001 Eric went back to school. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2003 with a degree in education and began a teaching career. This gave him the opportunity to teach the art of story, and after several years, Eric began writing again.
In 2015, Eric received an offer to co-write and direct an independent sitcom called Faith Springs. Since then, Eric has written and directed several more projects. He current lives in Minneola, Florida with his wife and their three children.
Secret power or talent?
“To always find humor in something. Life can sometimes be too serious and unenjoyable. Laughing adds positivity.”
“I don’t mean to brag but I finished my 21 day diet in two hours and fifty-five minutes.” (See what he means by laughter?!) His real personal motto is: “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because character is how you see yourself, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” -John Wooden
