Over the course of a year and across three states, our team partnered with Cyber Florida to produce, film, and edit a full-length documentary titled Do We Belong Here? The goal was to spotlight individuals making their mark in the cybersecurity space, giving them a platform to share their professional journeys. Afterward, we overhauled Cyber Florida’s YouTube channel to ensure that this message would reach a broader, more engaged audience.
A Year-Long Project Showcasing Women in Cybersecurity
Hacking the Status Quo
Cyber Florida approached us to help create something unique—a full-length documentary capturing honest conversations from professionals in the cybersecurity field. The result was Do We Belong Here?, an 82-minute film shaped by real stories and behind-the-scenes insight.
From initial concept to final edit, we led the creative development, establishing the tone, visuals, and structure of the film. We conducted interviews across the country, focusing on the challenges and milestones that shaped these individuals’ careers.
The documentary was sparked by conversations on Cyber Florida’s Do We Belong Here? podcast, hosted by Sarina Rose and Rex Wilson. After hearing countless personal accounts, they wanted to take the conversation further with a documentary format.
Once filming concluded, we shifted focus to their YouTube presence—organizing and optimizing the channel to ensure the content could be easily found, watched, and shared.

brightly colored backdrops allowed us to maintain continuity as we traveled from state to state for our interviews
The creative inspiration for all of our podcast hosts, and for select interviewees, was actually the Netflix documentary, Bad Vegan. Our Director of Photography on this project, Kevin, loved the look in the film and felt it would enhance our mission of women empowerment in the documentary as a whole.

Cyber Florida’s Digital Presence
Empowering Viewers through visuals
Our work with Cyber Florida wasn’t just about creating a beautiful documentary—it was about building a community. By engaging with viewers in the comments, incorporating feedback into future content, and crafting videos that answered real cybersecurity questions, we positioned Cyber Florida as a top, trusted resource in the field.
our approach ensured that the channel grew not only in numbers, but also in its ability to foster meaningful connections with viewers
chasing the story, state to state
For Do We Belong Here, we traveled beyond our home base of Tampa Bay, capturing stories across three states that each added a unique layer to the documentary.
We traveled to multiple locations to capture stories in context. In Atlanta, we filmed at a major cybersecurity summit and conducted one of our most impactful interviews in an unexpected hallway—showing how sometimes the most meaningful content comes from unplanned moments.
In Chicago, we hosted a high-level roundtable discussion with CISCO, using a dynamic multi-camera setup to capture every moment. Nashville added visual flair and energy to the project, especially at the WiCyS conference, where we spoke with leaders in the field, including Jen Easterly.
Breaking Barriers
YouTube Optimization and Strategy
Our team began by assessing Cyber Florida’s existing YouTube channel. We addressed upload irregularities, reorganized content, and updated branding for consistency. Using a tailored content calendar, we planned a steady stream of engaging content, including long-form discussions and Shorts.
We applied SEO best practices, refreshed thumbnails, and integrated CTAs to drive action. As Cyber Florida updated its branding mid-year, we aligned our video output to match, keeping the visual identity consistent.
Ongoing analytics reviews helped us refine the channel strategy, driving long-term growth and stronger viewer engagement.
Tampa Theatre Premiere
To cap off the project, Cyber Florida premiered the documentary at the historic Tampa Theatre. Nearly 500 attendees watched the full film on the big screen—many visibly moved by the end. It was a night full of reflection, connection, and storytelling, marking a successful milestone for all involved.
“Two Stories Media transformed our YouTube channel into a thriving educational platform. Their creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to collaborate set them apart. Thanks to their efforts, our content has reached and engaged a far wider audience than we ever anticipated. It’s been a pleasure working with their team, and we look forward to future projects together.”
