Quitting your job to start a company isn’t something you just up and decide to do on a whim. And when it’s your husband that’s doing it, the week before you’re getting married, well, it’s even more exciting!
Kevin, my husband and the owner of our company – Two Stories Media – has always been more of a risk-taker than me. And for that, I’m grateful. I’m grateful that when I have my own challenges, I have someone to bounce ideas off of and give me sound advice. I’m grateful he prioritizes time with our little family, no matter how busy he gets. Mostly though, I’m grateful for the example he shows our 2-year-old son. He is a great example of work ethic and accomplishing what you set out to do.
I am SO proud to announce that Kevin won the 2019 Business Observer’s Top 40 Under 40 award for entrepreneurial leadership in the Tampa Bay region. That sounds like a mouthful. Basically, it means Kevin is an incredible business leader who works SO hard to make his dreams a reality. When a problem comes up, he handles it with patience, intelligence and strategy. When there is a particular goal he wants to achieve, he doesn’t just think about wanting it. He actually creates a tangible plan with actionable steps to make it happen.
I have watched this man tackle everything that’s been thrown at him over and over the past 6 years of running and nurturing Two Stories Media. I couldn’t be more proud.
The Business Observer held a great event last week honoring each of the winners. The theme was “Top 40,” so there were a lot of musical undertones throughout the event and this year’s issue of the paper. The Observer also captured fun videos during their interviews.
Congratulations, honey! You earned it. Always know that me, Connor, and little baby Echemendia are here rooting for you every day. You have a sound support system behind you, and you always will 🙂
