Commercial Video Production

Tampa International Airport is excited to announce the release of TSM’s two commercial video projects featuring their new Parking campaign. The videos showcase the modern and convenient parking experience that the airport offers travelers.

We created two ads: a thirty second and a six second social spot. The ads feature a variety of scenes that highlight the airport’s amenities and services. The opening shots immediately plunge the viewer on the road to the airport, and into a car that’s getting ready to park, giving viewers a sense of where we’re headed. Passengers can now choose from economy, short and long-term parking options. We then see passengers parking their car, taking advantage of the airport’s new touchless ticketing system, and EV hookup charging stations.

Why We Created The Video

The TPA crew were incredible to work with. They’re super nice people, and allowed us to get creative with scripting and visuals. It was an interesting job in the sense that TPA had a video they had been using for about 5 years, but they needed to have it updated because the airport had changed so much since they last filmed.

Ryan, one of our DP’s, was lead on this project. On the pre-production side, he had to layout his shot list – the client specifically requested storyboards, which we’re happy to accommodate here at TSM. We use an app for storyboards that is extremely simple to use and great for a project of this caliber in order to keep everything organized. Storyboarding allows us to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Equipment Used

This project required multiple company moves and different setups. As most of our filming was outside, we relied heavily on the Aputure 1200D A LOT in order to help mimic the sunlight. Additionally, we used a nice ultra-bounce to either enhance the sunlight or block it out.

We were able to rent a hostess tray in order a capture a couple of crucial shots. In the previous video, these shots were done from inside the car, but we really wanted to up the quality and also see the actresses’ face better. The results were amazing.

This was a looooooong day with a lot of moving parts, but our crew was awesome and kept pushing all day! The client was thrilled with the final product, and they can’t wait to start showcasing it within the airport, and online. Cheers to another project completed!
