SPC Lifestyle Brand Shoot
Lifestyle brand shoots are all about creating a fun, comforting environment – one that you might see yourself working or engaging in. TSM had the privilege of doing the lifestyle brand shoot for St. Petersburg College.
Each year, SPC comes up with a brand new marketing campaign to attract new students, and encourage current students to start or continue their studies. This year, the theme was Better Together. After the last few years of COVID-19 craziness, I think most of us would agree that we certainly are better together!
Better Together
This was an all-day brand shoot. Our gear of choice was a Canon 5D Mark IV. We divided up the day into three sections, at 2 SPC campuses, with different students at each location. At the Downtown campus, we started in the early morning on the rooftop of the parking garage. The client wanted to have the beautiful downtown cityscape in the background, so we needed height!
We then went downstairs to the main level, where we shot a few lifestyle photos of students on their laptops, working, and enjoying each other’s company. After that, we walked over to Williams Park for an outdoor look, as well as the surrounding downtown area. In the afternoon, we relocated to SPC’s Gibbs Campus to take advantage of their brand new, gorgeous building – the Student Success Center. We highlighted some younger faces here, with the help of the Early College team, and took our time staging and creating relaxed poses for each student.
Refreshing Your Company Image
Targeting new and current students was SPC’s vision with this photoshoot. Lifestyle photoshoots help engage and elevate the voice of your institution. These photos can be seen on multiple billboards throughout Pinellas County (currently, in Summer/Fall 2022). These photos are also being used on all featured SPC marketing materials – magazine covers, website banners, print material, and more.
