When neuroscientist and adventurer “Doc” Gerard approached us with the Sailing Cerebral project, we knew we were setting sail on more than just another documentary. The goal? Create a brand new YouTube series in which strangers set sail together for months at a time, learning to sail and inciting adventure in viewers. The series – now wrapped after 12 full seasons – spanned from the Bahamas, to Panama, New Zealand, Indonesia and, quite literally, around the world. In the end, it brought the series brought in over 1.8M views, and 13K subscribers. Our TSM team journeyed with this rotating crew for the first four seasons, filming, editing, posting, and refining content for optimum impact on YouTube.
