Kit Rental FAQ
What’s included in the base rental?
The Sony FX9 body with its LCD viewfinder and handle, 2× V-mount batteries and a charger, 128GB XQD cards and a reader, plus a cage and baseplate, prepped and tested in Clearwater.
What lens mount does it have?
Sony E-mount native, and it takes PL cine glass with an adapter in Super 35 mode. That is how we run our Cooke, ARRI Ultra Prime, IronGlass, and Laowa Ranger kits on it. Add one in your rental request.
What does it record to?
4K XAVC up to 4:2:2 10-bit, or RAW out through the XDCA extension, onto XQD. The 128GB cards and a reader come in the kit; extra 128GB XQD is $20/day.
What powers it?
Two V-mount batteries and a charger come with it. Need longer days or a Gold-mount setup? Add a battery set in your rental request.
Can I add lenses, power, or a stabilizer?
Yes. Everything in the add-ons list is available on request. Note what you need in your rental request and we’ll fold it into your quote.
Is it pickup or delivery?
Prepped and tested in Clearwater for pickup, with delivery across Tampa Bay on request. Multi-day and weekly rates on request too.
