Kit Rental FAQ
What’s included in the base rental?
The Sony FX6 body with its detachable top handle, BP-U batteries and a charger, CFexpress Type A cards and a reader, plus a cage and baseplate, prepped and tested in Clearwater.
What lens mount does it have?
Sony E-mount full frame, and it takes PL or EF cine glass with an adapter. We run our Cooke, ARRI Ultra Prime, IronGlass, and Laowa Ranger kits on it. Add a lens kit in your rental request.
What does it record to?
4K up to 120 fps in XAVC 4:2:2 10-bit with S-Log3, or 16-bit RAW out over SDI, onto CFexpress Type A. The 80GB cards and a reader come in the kit; extra 80GB is $10/day and 400GB is $30/day.
Does it match your other cameras?
Yes. S-Log3 cuts straight in with the FX9 and FX3, and the color holds next to the ARRI bodies once graded. It has 12G-SDI, so it takes wireless video too.
Can I add lenses, media, or wireless video?
Yes. Everything in the add-ons list is available on request. Note what you need in your rental request and we’ll fold it into your quote.
Is it pickup or delivery?
Prepped and tested in Clearwater for pickup, with delivery across Tampa Bay on request. Multi-day and weekly rates on request too.
