Kit Rental FAQ
What ships with the Probe rental?
One lens: the Laowa 24mm f/14 2X Macro Probe, Cine version, in Arri PL, plus the variable output LED control cable and aluminum case. Bring a USB battery for the LED ring.
What mount and cameras does it work with?
Our kit is Arri PL only. The lens covers full frame and Super 35, so it drops straight onto an Alexa 35, Alexa Mini, or any PL cinema body.
How close does it actually focus?
Full 2:1 macro with a 470mm minimum focusing distance and about 20mm of working distance from the lens tip, and it racks out to infinity.
