Two Stories Media loves an opportunity to help a local business or school, for that matter, to tell their story. We had the honor of working with one of the well-known schools in Florida. As it says on their website “Florida Poly is the nation’s leading institution of change, engineered from the ground up to push the boundaries of education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).”
The Event
Not only do they offer over 31 programs of study – Florida Polytech cares about their students. Academically and socially. TSM was there to capture an annual event they hold at the beginning of the fall semester. That event is Purple Fire Week. Students get to mingle and play games, encouraging the students to make connections with other fellow students.
Production – Bring On The Fun
Our very own TSM teammate Dylan was on-site for this photo production and was able to capture the fun. This event is hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA) and Campus Activities Board (CAB). The event brings students together to play games like cornhole, ping pong, foosball, and more. Their SGA President, Ryan Perez states “Making friends on your own is hard, especially if you’re new to University. We’re here to help you! Purple Fire Week is full of events for you to meet new people and create great memories!”
These Purple Fire events are hosted all across the campus. The campus itself is quite exquisite and sits on 178 acres. Which makes us wonder… How many steps did Dylan get in that day anyway? If he was keeping track, he probably exceeded his goal for the entire week. Seriously though, we have such an appreciation for Florida Polytechnic University and what they have to offer their students.
